  • Hi Dave, I think the project is totally doable in your space. My team has created several spots for Perricone MD, a high end skincare brand retailed at Sephora, Ulta, and Nordstrom (places where women care a lot more about the results of the products, then the price tags they carry 😉 We are in post production for the most recent series we shot just last week, but here is a video we recorded back in November in a studio space in San Francisco >>

Camera was Sony FS5 recording raw 4K into an Odyssey 7Q+, 90% of shots were with a Canon 24-70mm F2.8, lights were a Arri HMI 1.2K, Litepanels Astra 1×1 Bi-Color LED Panels, and some CameraPlus CP-MTLII wands.

One of our biggest assets was having a set-designer come help with dressing our environments. She also understood the aesthetic of the target consumer MUCH better than the some of the men on the production team. Our hair and makeup artists was also invaluable.

For inspirations, I would suggest you take a look at YouTube channels of Estee Lauder and bareMinerals. If you wanted, we’ve also got a bunch of BTS shots from our latest series I’d be happy to share if you thought it’d be valuable.

    Cheers! -Geoge
